This Weekend I.....

After a long, busy week at work, the weekend did not bring much of a change in pace.  But, a little variety it did.

This weekend I . . . 

. . . got new couches!!  I have been waiting for this day for a long time.  Most recently, we have had a real old, very ugly (but extremely comfortable) couch in our living room.  As comfy as it is, it is such an eye-soar and I am more than happy to ship it downstairs to the man cave :)  So, when our friends announced earlier this week that they were getting new couches, we jumped on the opportunity to take over their old ones (which aren't actually old at all - and are a matching set!).

This is the loveseat (MY couch) - there is also a full sized sofa, which Tristan has claimed.

This weekend I . . .

. . . spent about 5 hrs each on Saturday and Sunday in the office, doing taxes!

This weekend I . . . 

. . . had a lovely girls' night with my sister-in-law.  It was a pre-baby spa night: manis & pedis, 

followed by Mexican food for dinner.  My first nephew could make his

appearance any day now - so she is all set for the hospital!

. . . stayed up WAY past my bedtime doing dishes, washing laundry, catching up with my DVR, and working on this:

This weekend I . . . 

. . . shot my first engagement session!!

This sweet couple was so excited and a lot of fun.  I'm excited to finish up editing the photos and sending them off - hopefully they like the finished product!

This weekend I . . . 

. . . took a couple quick phone-shots of the beautiful sunshine while driving down the freeway.

It was a busy, but satisfying weekend.  Hope all of yours was too!!
