All in the Family

Earlier last week, I announced the opening of my shop on Etsy, Seashore Photography.  I have been a little disappointed in the lack of viewers, and the failure to sell any prints.  However, I am trying to stay hopeful that I will eventually sell SOMETHING.

Other potential opportunities for promotion that I am looking into include a local art show and sale that is coming up in July, as well as entering a few pictures in the county fair.  Yes, these are small-time, but this exposure would be better than none!

I have one more photo shoot to share from last week.  After spending time at my sister-in-law's house and taking some pictures to celebrate the baby's first birthday (if you missed these photos, click here!), I headed over to a friend's place to do some family photos for her and her two little ones.  They live outside of town, so their property was the perfect location.

What a beautiful family!  As always, I was grateful for the opportunity to create these memories for them...

Honor & Cherish

A while back, a really good friend of mine asked if I would take some pictures of her an her boyfriend.  At the time, they were approaching their one-year anniversary.  For whatever reason, it didn't work out right away, but while we were in San Fran, I did have a chance to get some isolated "couples" photos.  Veronica is a fellow photographer, so I was honored that she would give me this opportunity.

These are some of our best friends and I am so glad that I could do this for them . . . hopefully soon there will be some maternity pictures to add to their collection!!

Forever Road

I heard every word you said
I'm tryin' hard to understand
Exactly what it is you need from me

Baby I apologize I never meant to make you cry
But there ain't no doubt, we can work it out, yeah
'Cause I'm gonna be around

Don't worry baby, I ain't no maybe
Rain or shine this love of mine is for you
Let my arms remind you I'll always be beside you
Holdin' on until this ride is through
So away we go down that forever road

Baby as our lives unfold there's no tellin' where we'll go
But as far as I can see it'll be you and me
Just the way it's supposed to be

Now don't worry baby, I ain't no maybe
Rain or shine this love of mine is for you
Yeah let my arms remind you I'll always be beside you
Holdin' on until this ride is through
So away we go down that forever road

It ain't gonna be easy, we'll both make big mistakes
But if you love me, trust me, we've got what it takes

Now don't worry baby, I ain't no maybe
Rain or shine this love of mine is for you
Yeah let my arms remind you I'll always be beside you
Holdin' on until this ride is through
So away we go down that forever road
Down that forever road, away we go

-Darius Rucker

This song came on this afternoon through my husband's Ipod that was plugged into my car.  It took me by surprise, because Tristan HATES country music.  But the song, which I hadn't heard before, is really good.  I listened to it over and over, soaking in the words of this sweet love song.

SeashorePhotography

It is official - I have an Etsy shop!  Unfortunately, the formatting options for the shop name prevented from using my business name of Kaeley A. Mull Photography.  I tried several abbreviated versions, but those were taken.  So - I came up with something original: SeashorePhotography.

You can visit my shop here:  http://www.etsy.com/shop/SeashorePhotography

I have several options listed, with more to come, and intend to direct customers here as well for additional photo choices.  We will see how this goes . . . wish me luck!
