Although I know it is fairly unlikely that I will have much to share in the coming months as busy season approaches, for now, I am going to try to link up with Melissa at Serendipity is Sweet for her Friday Photo Journal link party.
The idea is to document and share events and moments from your week. Melissa mentioned she plans to consolidate all of the "journal entries" at the end of the year, which I think is a great way to maintain those memories - especially of the little things and special moments that we tend to forget otherwise.
Sunday we went and explored a little beach near our house. It was far too cold to be there, though :) The work week was a short one for both me and Tristan. While Tristan's first day back to work after Christmas break was Wednesday, I had to go in Monday, had New Year's Day off as a holiday, and then finished out the work week. Still - a short week is always nice.
Another plus this week: my new camera lens came! My Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 Macro Zoom Lens is phenomenal! It is a huge upgrade from the 18-55mm kit lens. However, I have found that I will still be using my kit lens alot, because a lot of the shots I want the new lens' minimum zoom is still too much.
I also got to work on some little projects for my sister-in-law's upcoming baby shower, and make some super yummy banana muffins!! (click here for the recipe!)
As always, have a great week! I think I might be in for some fun tomorrow...we shall see!!
What a fun collage. So glad that you were able to get out and try your new lens!
