If I could be anything in the world, I would be a stay at home momma of three beautiful children, who also runs her own photography business out of her home. While this is not an extreme dream, and may not be out of reach, right now it is not within the realm of possibility. I don't know what we would do without the security of two salaried jobs, and I don't have enough experience to really make a living off of my photography.
Someday, though, I hope to be able to stay home with our kiddos (who are not even on the way, mind you) and spend the majority of my time taking care of and playing with them. Although I know it is a lot of work, I am super jealous of my two sister-in-laws who are home with their babies all day.
Hopefully my photography career will eventually focus on soon-to-be mommas and their newborn babies...as well as maybe engagements and weddings. Those have been my favorite types of sessions.

1. Made a yummy smoothie for breakfast Saturday morning: Banana, raspberries, blackberries, grapes and non-fat vanilla yogurt. It was really tasty, and healthy!
2. Found a nasty-looking spider in the bathroom! I should have just killed it . . . 'cause now I don't know WHERE he is.
3. Had my first senior portrait session for the Class of 2014.
4. Went to the Columbia County Fair and Rodeo with my husband and a couple of friends. Tristan and Derek had both never been to the rodeo before {and to be honest Tristan would have been fine if he never did go}, but it was fun.
5. Refreshed with an Iced Coffee *with a little cream and Splenda* from Dutch Brothers.
6. Met a cute little guy named Kevin and chased him around the park for a bit.
7. Had a session with my first repeat-client! Last month I posted photos from a local maternity session. Yesterday I got to meet her little man, Conner! He is pretty darn sweet.
There will be more to come of Kevin and Conner soon. And maybe I will actually post camping pictures from LAST week?? Maybe...
What a fun way to post a recap! Love picture #7...adorable!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful weekend - love all the photos to capture it ... except the spider!
